NCH clarifies rules on Homoeopathic practitioners practising other systems of medicine

The National Commission for Homoeopathy has clarified that Homoeopathic practitioners cannot practise other systems of medicine under Regulation 36(y) of the 2022 Code of Ethics. However, they may do so under National Health Programmes or government programmes where they have completed training or courses recognised by the competent authority. The clarification provides greater regulatory certainty on the circumstances in which Homoeopathic practitioners may participate in government health programmes involving other systems of medicine.
