Overview
The filing of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) annual return is mandatory for cosmetics importers, manufacturers, marketers and brand owners (PIBOs) whose products contain any type of plastic packaging. EPR annual returns have to be filed after obtaining EPR registration [hyperlink]. Before filing Annual Returns, the PIBOs has to fulfil EPR target for that year by purchasing EPR credits from registered recyclers.

Timeline
The EPR annual returns of plastic packaging are required to be filed on or before June 30, of each year for the plastic packaging used in the previous financial year.
Validity
Annual returns are to be filed every year.

Fees
