CDSCO cancels import registration for cosmetic products of international haircare brand

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has cancelled the import registration certificate held by an Indian agent for cosmetic products of an international haircare brand, with immediate effect. The cancellation follows a request by the agent after the brand decided to discontinue the registration for business and administrative reasons and confirmed that the products covered under the certificate would no longer be imported into India.
