CBN ties with Pharmexcil to regulate controlled substances exports

The Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council for preventing the diversion of controlled substances, particularly Narcotics and Psychotropic Drugs. Under the agreement, the CBN will develop a non-binding voluntary code of Conduct, setting out recommended practices. The two sides will identify and recommend measures to streamline export procedures for compliant exporters.
